I would only pick up champion of thorns levels after I've reached lvl15pal but I'm willing to take any advice.Neverwinter Nights Enhanced Edition is a re-release of Neverwinter Nights with enhancements beyond patch 1.69 of the original game. Going with 16wisdom would give me 2x lvl3 paladin spell by lvl 14 instead of just 1. I still can't decide if I go with a starting wiz of 14 or 16. 2Fighter lvl (for weapon spec) 15-16 paladin lvl and rest in champion of thorn (basicaly for the higher saves over going for more paladin levels). I think that I,ll end with a cha based build. You should mention if you are planning to continue with the same character into other modules, like the Sands of Fate series - that start where HotU leaves off and reach level 40. Beware that HotU will not likely take you past level 26-28, so any build that is a late bloomer will not be as much fun to play as it may sound.
